It's a brassinosteroid plant growth regulator. It increases flowering, improves fruit set, reduces flower and fruit drop, and helps crops handle heat, drought and other stress.

Katyayani Bloom Booster costs ₹635 for 250 ml (MRP ₹1,320), ₹1,167 for 500 ml, ₹2,280 for 1 L and ₹10,947 for 5 L, with free delivery. That's about ₹219–254 per acre per spray.

It depends on the problem:

• More flowers, better fruit set and less flower drop in vegetables, fruits and cotton: Homobrassinolide 0.04%.
• Flower drop only: NAA.
• Forcing flowering in mango: Paclobutrazol.
• Gibberellic acid mainly increases bud and fruit size; it doesn't start flowering.

• More flowers, and better pollination and fruit set.
• Less flower and fruit drop.
• Bigger, better-quality fruit.
• More chlorophyll and photosynthesis, and stronger roots.
• Better tolerance of heat, cold, drought and salinity.

More flowers, better fruit set, less drop, bigger and more even fruit, greener leaves, faster recovery from stress and higher yield. It all comes from a very low dose of 100 ml per acre.

2.5 acres per spray.

Homobrassinolide improves flowering, fruit set and stress tolerance across the whole plant. GA mainly lengthens cells, so it increases stem, bud and fruit size. For more flowers and less drop, homobrassinolide is the better fit.

It works with most of them and with water-soluble fertilizers. Avoid strongly alkaline products, and do a jar test first.

Tomato, chilli, brinjal, okra, cucurbits, grapes, pomegranate, banana, citrus, cotton, paddy, soybean, pulses, rose and marigold.

Just before flowering, then again at early fruit set. Keep a 15-day gap, do up to 3 sprays per season, and spray in the morning or evening.

100 ml per acre as a foliar spray, or 8–10 ml per 15 L knapsack sprayer.

Greener leaves in 5–7 days, and better flowering and fruit set over the next 2–3 weeks.
