This policy applies to all orders placed through the Katyayani Krishi Direct mobile application and website. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

You may request a return or refund within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery.

Refunds or replacements are applicable only under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged or defective

  • The product received is incorrect or missing

  • The product is returned unused, unopened, and in its original condition, with all packaging, labels, and invoices intact

⚠️ Important:
Opened or used products are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances, due to regulatory, safety, and quality-control requirements.

2. How to Request a Return or Refund

To initiate a return or refund request, please email our Customer Support team at

Your email must include:

  1. Order Number
    (Available in the order confirmation sent via WhatsApp/SMS or under “My Orders” in the Katyayani Krishi Direct app)

  2. Unboxing Video (Mandatory)
    A clear, continuous, and unedited unboxing video showing:

    • The shipping label on the sealed package

    • The condition of the outer box

    • The complete, uninterrupted unboxing of all contents

  3. Brief description of the issue

Requests submitted without the required video evidence will not be processed.

3. Special Conditions & Exceptions

a) Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Products

  • The unboxing video must clearly show the package before opening and continue without cuts or edits

  • This video will be cross-verified with our dispatch records, including documented shipment weight

b) Product Performance or Effectiveness

We do not offer refunds or returns for dissatisfaction related to product performance.

The effectiveness of fertilizers, pesticides, and agricultural inputs depends on multiple external factors, including but not limited to:

  • Soil quality

  • Climatic conditions

  • Water availability

  • Crop stage and application method

These factors are beyond our control and therefore do not qualify for a refund.

c) Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch without deductions

  • If an order has already been shipped, the following charges will be deducted from the refund:

    • Payment gateway charges: 3% + applicable GST

    • Freight / shipping charges

d) Proof of Identity for Refund Processing

To process any approved refund, the customer must provide:

  • A clear photo of a cancelled cheque or bank passbook

  • A valid government-issued ID (PAN Card, Aadhaar, or Voter ID)

  • The bank account holder name must match the registered customer name

All documents are used solely for refund verification and are handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

  • Once the returned product is received at our facility, it will undergo verification by our internal team

  • Upon approval, the refund will be credited to the registered bank account within 15 working days

  • Refund confirmation and transaction details will be shared via SMS and email

5. Legal Disclaimer

  • This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable Indian laws

  • Katyayani Organics is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier partners; however, we will assist customers in raising claims where applicable

  • This policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with Indian law

6. Policy Updates

Katyayani Organics reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time, with or without prior notice. Customers are advised to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any changes.
