Product Description

Katyayani Ashwamedh Plus is a premium wettable powder (WP) insecticide containing Diafenthiuron 40.1% and Acetamiprid 3.9%. It offers dual-action protection through both systemic and contact activity, providing effective and long-lasting control of a wide range of sucking insect pests.

The unique combination of Diafenthiuron and Acetamiprid controls pests by affecting their feeding behavior and nervous system, resulting in rapid knockdown and prolonged protection. It is highly effective against Thrips, Whiteflies, Mites, and other sucking pests.

Katyayani Ashwamedh Plus is recommended for use in Cotton, Chilli, Cabbage, and other crops as recommended by the Central Insecticides Board (CIB).

Mode of Action

Diafenthiuron

  • Diafenthiuron is a systemic insecticide that is absorbed by the plant and translocated throughout its tissues.
  • It effectively controls sucking pests feeding on the treated plant by disrupting their feeding activity and essential physiological functions.
  • It provides long-lasting protection against difficult-to-control insect pests.

Acetamiprid

  • Acetamiprid acts through contact, systemic, and translaminar activity.
  • It provides rapid knockdown of insects on direct contact and is also absorbed by the plant to control pests feeding on treated plant tissues.
  • It affects the insect nervous system, leading to paralysis and eventual death.
