Compatibility: What to Mix and What to Avoid

  • Boron 20% is water soluble and mixes with water-soluble NPK for foliar spraying. Dissolve the boron separately in a little water first, then add it to the tank. Do a small jar test if you have not used the combination before.
  • Avoid strongly alkaline sprays such as Bordeaux mixture and lime sulphur, because high pH breaks the chelate and the boron can precipitate. Be careful with calcium-heavy products in the same tank. Never add dry boron straight into the tank.
