Which Pests Does Chloda Control?
Borers (pod, shoot, fruit, and stem borer in paddy), bollworms, hoppers, jassids, loopers, moths, leaf miners, thrips and stem fly. It also covers beetles, caterpillars, leafhoppers and whiteflies, and controls all stages of the pest, including eggs and adults.
How Do the Two Active Ingredients Work?
| Active ingredient | Action | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Chlorantraniliprole | Systemic | The plant absorbs it and insects that feed on it are killed. It disrupts insect muscle function, causing paralysis and death. Gives long-lasting protection, even after rain or irrigation. |
| Lambda-cyhalothrin | Contact | Kills insects on contact. It disrupts the insect nervous system, causing paralysis and death. Acts quickly. |
Using two different modes of action together helps reduce the risk of insects building resistance to the product.
