Katyayani Fluben Flubendiamide 39.35% SC Insecticide

Flubendiamide is a phthalic acid diamide insecticide in IRAC Group 28 that works as a ryanodine receptor modulator. It controls caterpillar and borer pests by ingestion, causing them to stop feeding within hours and die of paralysis over the following days.

Flubendiamide is used to control Lepidopteran larvae — bollworms in cotton, fruit borer in tomato and chilli, shoot and fruit borer in brinjal and okra, pod borer in pulses, diamondback moth in cabbage, and stem borer and leaf folder in paddy.

Flubendiamide 39.35% SC is used as a foliar spray at 15 to 80 ml per acre depending on crop: 15–20 ml in cabbage, 20 ml in paddy, 40–50 ml in cotton, tomato and chilli, and 60–80 ml in brinjal, in 150–200 litres of water.

Flubendiamide targets the larval stage of moths and butterflies — American and spotted bollworm, fruit borer, shoot and fruit borer, pod borer, diamondback moth, stem borer, leaf folder, capsule borer and defoliating caterpillars.
